Dr. Abubakr Awad is currently a Data Scientist at Tesco. He was a PhD student (2017-2020) working on Physarum Polycephalum modelling and Physarum-inspired algorithm design. He was supervised by Dr Wei Pang, Prof. George M. Coghill (Aberdeen) and Prof. David Lusseau (DTU, Denmark). His PhD study was funded by the prestigious Elphinstone Scholarship from Aberdeen University.
