Esma Lounes is a PhD student supervised by Dr Mike Just (first supervisor) and Dr Wei Pang. She is currently working on Malware detection using machine learning techniques.
She obtained her MSc degree in Intelligent computer systems from University of Science and Technology USTHB, and her Graduation Project was on the detection and tracking of groups of persons in a low resolution video image sequence.
She carried out her BSc project at USTHB in partnership with the Center for Research on Scientific and Technical Information CERIST on the Monitoring of residual energy in wireless sensor networks by using a data aggregation method.
