Ioana Gherman was a PhD student based at Bristol from 2021 to 2025. She is supervised by Dr Lucia Marucci (lead supervisor, Bristol), Prof. Claire Grierson (Bristol), Dr Wei Pang, Dr Thomas Gorochowski (Bristol), and Dr Zahraa Abdallah (Bristol).
She worked on Mathematical Modelling and Machine Learning approaches to creating and analysing whole-cell models.
Previously she obtained her MSc in Computer Science from Oxford and BSc degree in Engineering Mathematics from Bristol.
