Dr Ioana M Gherman was a PhD student based at Bristol from 2021 to 2025. She was supervised by Dr Lucia Marucci (lead supervisor, Bristol), Prof. Claire Grierson (Bristol), Dr Wei Pang, Dr Thomas Gorochowski (Bristol), and Dr Zahraa Abdallah (Bristol).
Her PhD thesis is titled: “Genome engineering using whole-cell modelling and machine learning”.
Previously she obtained her MSc in Computer Science from Oxford and BSc degree in Engineering Mathematics from Bristol.
