Zhaorui Jiang is a visiting student at the BCML Lab from September 2024 to present, supervised by Prof. Wei Pang and Dr. Yingfang (James) Yuan. He received a First Class BEng (Hons) in Robotics from Heriot-Watt University, jointly with a BEng in Computer Science from Ocean University of China. He is now an MPhil student at Peking University. His main research interest is developing AI-driven scientific software and algorithms to address meaningful scientific problems in life science and geoscience, with a focus on computational toolkits or systems that support data-driven discovery.
